Fits Most Standard Metal Frames

The ComfIQ Clean-Line Headboard brings a restrained Mid-Century Modern meets Japandi silhouette to any bedroom — clean proportions, warm pine, and a finish that highlights the natural character of the wood. It mounts directly to most standard metal bed frames, so upgrading your headboard doesn't mean replacing your entire bed. The frame is built from solid and engineered kiln-dried pine — kiln drying removes moisture before the wood is milled, which is what prevents warping and cracking over time. Hardware and legs are included. Assembly takes about 30 minutes. The Queen measures 63 inches wide by 43.9 inches tall.

Why ComfIQ Clean-Line Collection

Four Reasons Our Customers Never Look Back

01
A Silhouette That Doesn't Compete With Your Room
A good headboard should anchor a bedroom, not dominate it. Mid-Century Modern meets Japandi is a design language built around restraint — clean proportions, warm natural wood, and nothing decorative that's only there for decoration's sake. The Clean Line headboard uses that language without announcing itself. The low-sheen satin finish lets the natural pine grain show through rather than masking it. Every board is slightly different. That's not a flaw — it's the point.
02
Built from Wood That's Prepared to Last
Kiln drying isn't a finishing step — it's a structural one. By removing moisture from the wood before it's ever milled, kiln drying eliminates the conditions that cause warping, cracking, and splitting over time. The Clean Line headboard is built from solid and engineered kiln-dried pine, which means the headboard that arrives is the headboard you'll still have in ten years. This is the kind of detail that doesn't show up in photos but shows up every day you live with the piece.
03
Upgrade Your Headboard. Keep Your Bed.
The Clean Line headboard is built to ISPA standards — the specification that most universal and adjustable metal bed frames are designed to match. Slotted mounting legs give 5 inches of height adjustment, so it works with the frame already in your bedroom. You get a pine headboard without replacing a bed that's still doing its job. Hardware and legs are included. Assembly takes about 30 minutes. That's a meaningful upgrade for a fraction of the cost of a new bed, and none of the disruption.
04
Solid Pine Quality. Direct Price.
A 43.9-inch wood headboard with Mid-Century Modern proportions and a satin stain finish typically runs two to three times this price at premium furniture retailers. The wood is the same. The construction category is the same. What's missing is the showroom markup. We design direct, manufacture with precision, and pass the savings through. Everything needed for assembly is in the box — no separate hardware purchase, no hardware store run, no guesswork. That's the standard we hold ourselves to across every product we make.

A Headboard That Makes the Whole Room

Most headboards at this price point disappear into the wall. ComfIQ's wood headboard stands 43.9 inches tall — retail scale, designed to anchor your bedroom the way a statement piece should. It looks like it belongs in a furniture showroom. It ships to your door for a fraction of what you'd pay there.

Fits the Frame You Already Have

Fits the Frame You Already Have

ComfIQ headboards are built to ISPA standards — the industry specification that most universal and adjustable metal bed frames are designed to match. The slotted mounting legs give you 5 inches of height adjustment, accommodating a wide range of standard frame heights. Measure your frame's on-center bolt spacing and compare it to the size chart before ordering. If it matches, you're set. Please note: Bed frame mounting bolts are not included.

Every Question Answered Honestly

Buying furniture online is a leap of faith. Here's everything that might be holding you back — answered directly.

📐
"Will it fit my bed frame?"
The ComfIQ headboard is built to ISPA mounting standards, which most universal and adjustable metal bed frames also follow. Before ordering, measure the on-center bolt spacing on your frame and compare it to the size chart in the Specifications tab. Queen = 58", King = 74.41".
🔩
"What mounting hardware do I need?"
Mounting hardware is not included — bed frames vary widely in bolt size and spacing, so we don't include hardware that may not fit your frame. Your existing frame bolts typically work provided they're no larger than 5/16" in diameter. All other assembly tools are included.
📏
"How tall will it actually be?"
When fully assembled with the legs installed, ComfIQ's headboard stands 43.9" from the floor to the top of the panel. The decorative panel alone (without legs) is 22.8" tall. Always measure and mount with the legs attached — that's the product as designed.
"How long does assembly take?"
Under 30 minutes for most customers. The legs attach to the panel, the panel mounts to your bed frame. Everything ships in one organized carton. All tools are included — just bring your existing frame's mounting bolts.
📦
"What if something arrives damaged?"
Every Serene headboard ships in protective packaging with carefully wrapped components. If anything arrives damaged or defective, contact us and we'll ship replacement parts at no cost — fast.
🔧
"What if something goes wrong after assembly?"
The ComfIQ headboard is covered by a 1-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects. If something isn't right, we provide free replacement parts and direct support. You're not on your own after the purchase.

Frequently Asked

Measure the on-center distance between the two mounting bolt holes on each side of your frame's headboard bracket. Compare that to the slotted mounting range on the Clean-Line headboard legs, which provide 5 inches of vertical adjustment. Most ISPA-standard metal frames fall within range, but measuring first avoids surprises.
You'll need a standard adjustable wrench or socket wrench to tighten the mounting hardware to your bed frame — that's it. No drill, no specialty bits, no extra hardware. Two people and about 30 minutes is all it takes.
A dry or slightly damp microfiber cloth handles everyday dust. For anything more stubborn, use a gentle wood-safe cleaner — avoid ammonia, bleach, or silicone-based polishes, which can cloud the satin finish over time. The low-sheen stain is durable but not indestructible; coasters and felt pads under decor will extend its life.
The Clean-Line headboard ships in one carton via standard ground freight. Average delivery is around 3.5 days from order confirmation. You'll receive tracking the moment it leaves our facility.
You have 30 days from delivery to decide. If it's not right, reach out and we'll walk you through the return process. We'd rather you get the piece that actually works for your space than keep one that doesn't.
At 43.9 inches tall, the Clean-Line headboard is scaled for standard mattress-plus-foundation setups (typically 20 to 25 inches of mattress height above the floor), leaving roughly 18 to 24 inches of visible headboard above the mattress — the range most furniture designers consider the visual sweet spot.
